Collection: Japanese Teapots

A good teapot changes the way you enjoy tea. Our Japanese teapots come in the materials most used in Japan, so you can choose the one that suits your tea and your table.

Teapots by material

  • Cast iron teapots: heavy and durable, they hold heat well and keep tea warm for longer. Some include an infuser for loose-leaf tea.
  • Ceramic and pottery teapots: warm, earthy finishes for green tea and everyday brewing.
  • Porcelain teapots: light and elegant, with smooth glazes.

You will also find teapot sets with matching cups, travel tea sets and teapot warmer stoves that keep the pot hot at the table. Capacity, dimensions and what is included are listed on each product page.

Caring for your teapot

Rinse ceramic and porcelain teapots with warm water after use. Cast iron teapots should be emptied and dried completely, ideally while still warm, to protect the interior.
